While we didn’t quite make Nina’s top 20 list (my personal opinion, a significant miss but now rectified – see above), Nina Karnikowski’s recent article in Traveller did resonate. Posts of amazing European holiday spots, exotic holiday islands and beautiful Italian coastlines have been prolific on social feeds and, it seems, airline service, lack-thereof, and pricing are doing little to deter our global travel desires. That said, we too, have extraordinary and grand geographical wonders – hello Mount Kosciuskzo National Park – and it’s time to explore our own backyard, literally, our own backyard at Forty Nine Post Office Lane.
