“We chose to stay at this beautiful house with our extended family for five days in the middle of our road trip from Brisbane. To say we had an amazing time would be an understatement. The house was perfect for what we needed. We had 3 children under 5 and it catered incredibly well as I’m sure it would for older children as well. This accommodation has everything you need and more from the kitchen having every utensil possible, to bath salts after a day on the slopes and the most comfortable beds!! Our absolute favourites were also the indoor and outdoor fireplaces. An incredible place to gather with the family at the end to the day with a glass of wine. “This is a wonderful, beautiful property. Most stunning is the view from the large window in the kitchen/dining area of mature eucalyptus trees looking down over the outdoor kitchen and fire pit area. We made great pizzas in the pizza oven, and the night was cool enough to warrant lighting the fire pit. Early mornings a kangaroo mum and her joey would bound along the backyard. The beautifully furnished and modern amenities are top notch, and the kitchen is truly gourmet with pretty much everything at our fingertips. Thank you for making this property available for others to enjoy. We had a great time”.

The photos don’t do justice to this beautiful property. Just gorgeous, and Luisa has thought of everything! Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly think of. The kids bunk room is fully kitted out with games, books and such comfortable beds. Every bedroom is large with plenty of storage. The outside area was great for enjoying wood fire pizzas or a bbq. “What a fantastic place to stay! Gorgeous setting with a beautiful and very well presented house. For our group of friends, it was the perfect setting for a few days getaway in the Snowys. We used the outdoor setting every night, jumping between the pizza oven and easy-to-use charcoal bbq (which is actually a really efficient grill). The fire pit settled us into each night. Inside, the standouts are the kitchen and the bedrooms, which is just how it should be to make holidays fun and refreshing“.

“We had a fabulous stay at this property. This property accommodated the needs of our group of two families really well (7 kids in total). It had loads of room so that we weren’t on top of each other, a well appointed kitchen, fabulous bunk room and games room and loads of outdoor space for the kids to run around. The kids also loved seeing the kangaroos and deer on the property. This property is in a fabulous location – 20 minutes drive to Thredbo and 15 minutes to Jindabyne. “A beautiful location, stunning house, quality fixtures and fittings… All the things you can see in the photos… However what you can’t see… Is the extra details… The extra effort, the thoughts, the intention, those things that makes you glad you’re away from home and wish it was your home.. Those subtle touches that make all the difference. – Beds like you wish you had at home – Carpet deep enough to sleep on, (according to dick. 21 paramedic in training!) – Good showers, actually I heard great at least twice… – Simple well thought through touches. Like the window that aligns with your head in the bath. – All the small things are done, and ready for you to kick back and relax… A great stay is assured not because of the detail captured in all the pics, or the aforementioned touches, accessories and attributes. “Everything we could need was there. The house is nestled within the trees that gives you the sense of being disconnected, which was exactly what we needed. Saying this, it’s a relatively short drive to Jindy town if you ever need anything. Inside and out the house is beautifully presented. All the finishes and appliances are of the highest quality. The games room, foxtel and kids room with the bunk beds kept them well occupied over the weekend. We will be back for sure as I can imagine during peak winter season the outlook must be even better…..can’t wait”.

“This is a beautiful property and the photos just don’t do it justice – my family and I were blown away by the size and luxuriousness when we arrived. All rooms are properly kitted out, underfloor heating, heated towel rails, plush carpets, huge plush lounges, very comfortable beds (even the bunks!).
On top of that, all of the hidden extras you don’t think of – the kitchen is fully equipped and you could easily cater for a large family, the kids room had all kinds of extras like LEGO, books, wii console, books and board games. The location is also beautiful and peaceful, a family of kangaroos with joeys kept us company and entertained for the weekend and my sister even spotted some deer. All of this within an easy drive from Thredbo or Jindabyne villages.
The only downside for me was that we didn’t get to stay for longer. I will definitely try to come back some time soon, it’s the ultimate home away from home“.
